PCG Digital Marketing today announced that MINI was chosen to receive a 2011 Automotive Website Award (AWA) for best OEM mobile website design. The awards were presented to the leading automotive website companies and software vendors at the AWA ceremony that took place October 7th at Caesars Palace, just prior to the DrivingSales Executive Summit.
MINI was one of three OEMs chosen for their engaging and useful mobile website designs. The MINI mobile website allowed the AWA testing team to research a car and then locate a vehicle that matched their interest at a local dealer. The MINI website allowed consumers to see specific VIN level matches on cars that were in-stock on dealer lots. The MINI mobile site was attractive and consistent with their brand feel. MINI was one of the few mobile sites that allowed visitors to use the GEO coordinates of their phone rather than requiring a zip code.
